Miscellaneous collection in numerous different hands; some may be cut from herald's notebooks, a few are printed charges/emblems possibly intended for inn signs. Several large blazons in water color. On p. 73 is a sketch of arms of "Shakespeare the player." Page 165 dated 1570; p. 57 dated 1632; p. 80 dated [1665?]. Pages 36 and 91 in the hand of Peter le Neve, and page 102 in the hand of Ralph Brooke.

William Shakespeare was likely born April, 23, 1564; he was baptized in Stratford-upon-Avon on April 26, 1564. He grew up, had a family, and bought property in Stratford while working in London, the center of English theater.
